We believe in making the transition as smooth and stress free as is possible. We will endeavour to support you in every way possible as you become part of the Camden High School community.
Camden High School has a well established and successful Camden Community of Schools Program (CCOS). Our team consists of Principals and representatives from the high school and all eight feeder schools.

Enrolments into Camden High School come from our community i.e. students who reside in our drawing area. Out of area enrolments are made by application only. These applications are considered by an enrolment panel and can only be considered if a position is available.

The most important personnel for your child in their transition to high school are the Year 7 Year Adviser and Assistant Year Adviser. This is your first contact for students and parents who seek support or advice.
The Year Advisers form part of a team that will offer you every assistance in the process of settling into high school and achieving success. The rest of the team consists of the Head Teacher and the Deputy Principal supporting Year 7. Additional support will be offered by the Head Teacher Welfare, Learning and Support Teacher and School Counsellors when required.

Other Important Information
Camden High School is a uniform school and full school uniform is required with the correct footwear.
- For classes each day - black, leather lace up shoes
- For sport - suitable sports shoes (No unsupportive canvas footwear e.g Dunlop Volleys/ Rabens)
Our uniform is supplied by LOWES at Narellan.

You should apply for your Opal card on-line through NSW Transport. The vast majority of our students travel to and from school by bus and therefore an important part of preparation for high school is investigation of bus routes and identification of the correct bus number to travel to and from school. A strength of CHS is the opportunity for students to participate in a WIDE range of extracurricular activities. These opportunities give students a chance to enhance their learning and experience new challenges and discover new talents

Parents and Citizens
The P&C provides all parents and community members with additional opportunities to support the school and stay connected to the school and all of its events.
The P&C usually meets on Monday Week 4 and Monday Week 9 of each Term - 6.30 pm Admin Block.
